(Semester 2; 5 ECTS) This module provides a methodology to quantify the environmental impacts of a product or a system, informing design decisions and trade-offs to deliver sustainable products and services.
(Semester 2; 5 ECTS) This module covers the scientific basis necessary to understand environmental and climate change through Earth history.
(Semester 2; 5 ECTS) This module will explore how human activity can positively and negatively affect global biodiversity and the value of biodiversity to humans.
(Semester 2; 5 ECTS) This module is designed to provide a high level overview of environmental law, an introduction to the fundamentals of law that governs how society interacts with the environment.
(Semester 1; 5 ECTS) This module covers the scientific basis necessary to understand environmental (including climate) change from first principles.
(Semester 1; 5 ECTS) This module aims to develop an in-depth knowledge of key components of energy policy such as: The broad area of energy policy – including its development and implementation, Building physics and energy engineering controls and systems in buildings, and Topics in energy economics, policy, embodied energy and lifecycle analysis and energy markets.
(Semester 2; 5 ECTS) This module will include; Introduction to Intelligent Transportation System, Training of VISSIM, Traffic Data Analysis and Modelling, Incident Management Scheme Design and Traffic Forecasting.
(Semester 1; 5 ECTS) This module covers the following topics: data, four stage transport modelling, discrete choice modelling, activity based models, transport and land use planning and public transport planning.
