EirGrid would like to offer students the chance to participate in our CleanerGrid Data Competition, with a chance to win up to €2,000 prize.
We want to offer consumers new opportunities to change their behaviour for the benefit of low-emission and sustainable electricity supply by adapting the way of when and how they use electricity.
With the CleanerGrid Competition, we want students to design, develop a live prototype and present it in front of our leading experts and researchers. Teams will take data feeds available on our EirGrid Smart Grid Dashboard and the SEMO website to create the prototypes.
The winning group will then receive the cash prize along with being able to further develop their prototype and it will be proposed for integration into the EirGrid Group Smart Grid Dashboard.
The competition goes live on Thursday March 2nd 2023 Teams must submit their design and a document explaining their method by midnight Sunday 9th April 2023 by emailing research@eirgrid.com along with their relevant information (names of members, colleges, course.)
