Wax Museum – Invitation for Student Collaboration

As part of ongoing development plans for the museum we are looking to restore and upgrade the technology features of our science and discovery zone. These range from monitors with displays relating to Irish science developments to touch point interactive learning devices.

We are currently inviting technology students of all fields and backgrounds to join us on this project. They will be given the opportunity to visit the museum and investigate the devices in this zone to then advise and work with us on how best to develop them for the future.

With its central location, the museum is a popular destination for school tours both Irish and international from primary school age right through the educational system. Education is hugely important to us and is a strong feature of what we do. Our science and discovery zone is dedicated to opening minds young and old. We celebrate the great discoveries of the past that have brought us to where we are today and now it’s time to look towards the future.

Interested students can apply to be part of this project by emailing groups@waxmuseumplus.ie with a brief description of their study path, their fields of interest and why they would like to become involved.
