Let’s Get Started: What is Universal Design?
Put simply, it’s good design that works well for everybody. It’s buildings and spaces where the needs of diverse users are just part of the design, not an afterthought. It’s products and services that work for people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability. And it’s ICT products, platforms and software that are accessible, understandable and usable to the end-user and make life better.
Universal Design really is great design.
