This year DBpedia, https://wiki.dbpedia.org/, is participating in the Google Summer of Code again (GSoC).
If you wonder what is GSoC you can find more information at the below link:
https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/
DBpedia invites students who are interested in Semantic Web and Open Source development to apply for the projects during summer. You can see some examples from previous year’s GSoC here: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/archive/2019/organizations/5142599592050688/
Students can be bachelor, master or PhD – basically anyone enrolled in any program. They will have one or more mentors who will supervise them from DBpedia and these people will help them write the project and if the project is accepted then they will help them through the project. Students will be paid by Google if they successfully complete the project, contribute to open source and gain experience.
